Cup Race / Blizzard Race - Results

A great time was had by all at the Cup Race / Blizzard Race. We had 59 participants enjoying the crisp, cool, sunny morning!

The Highlifers took home the Cup along with some "Fast Wax".

Thanks to everyone who participated and thanks to Black Diamond and Buck Hill for hosting the race!

There is still room on team in all for the leagues at Buck Hill and Wild Mountain. If you want to add another league to your racing, check out our roster page to see where there are openings.

Online Liability Forms

If you have not already filled out a liability form online, please go online and do this. We need a digital copy of a signed waiver for each participant each year. Even if you signed a waiver on paper at the hill, we still need one filled out and signed online.

Pacesetter Trials

We completed pacesetter trials on Friday, January 10 at Wild Mountain. We have submitted all pacesetting races to NASTAR and are waiting for final pacesetting handicaps to be set by them.

For pacesetters waiting for a number we will either use last year's pacesetting handicaps or leave them out of pacesetting options until final numbers are figured from NASTAR.

Championships at Giants Ridge

February 28, 29 & March 1, 2020

Giants Ridge.

Championships at Giants Ridge is a fun filled weekend of racing that all Ski Challenge teams can participate in. Championships is not a required weekend, but it’s a weekend not to be missed.

Every team is placed in a division with like scoring teams, making each division a fun, close competition for all teams. All team racing takes place on Saturday and Sunday on Innsbruck.

We also have an open Team Race on Friday that takes place on Innsbruck as well as a practice clinic. Saturday we offer an open Individual Race held on Helsinki (King and Queen of the Hel). Helsinki is a little steeper, more challenging run, but all are welcome to participate.
