GPRA Update 6/6/2019
Dear Great Pyrenees Friends,

Everybody's favorite, Dylan, has been adopted by a wonderful woman who has taken her current dog through a similar healing process. Dylan has responded remarkably well since we rescued him and looks and feels 100% better than in the video upon his arrival. He still has a way to go and will need to go through heart worm treatment but he has found the perfect forever home. It continues to amaze us how the human spirit ALWAYS embraces those that are the most in need.

We also have a number of seniors in good condition that, through no fault of their own, are needing a place to call home. Their older owners have surrendered their PYR because they are ill, unable or have passed away and these easy PYRS are somewhat confused and missing their long time owners.

We are getting owner surrenders and shelter PYRS at an alarming rate and our group is doing everything possible to accommodate these record numbers. Our foster families are like gold but we just don't have enough so our boarding is full and we have a line up of needy PYRS waiting to be rescued. Jenny will make it painless if you can find it in your heart to foster a PYR, even if only for a short time.

Thank you for all your support.

Thank you,
John
