Welcome to fall in Colorado! It's 60 degrees and sunny one day followed by 30 degrees and snowy the next. Be sure to check out the winter pond care tips below for more information on caring for your fish during the change of seasons. Also in this month's newsletter are the dates for the upcoming YouTube videos from The Pond Guy featuring True Pump and some of our Certified Aquascape Contractors! Winter Pond Care
Caring for your pond during the winter months can mean different things depending on where you live. If you're fortunate enough to reside in a mild climate, simply removing your pond's excess debris and adding Aquascape  Activated Pond Carbon should set you up for the winter.  If you live in the north or west where the snow flies, you may already notice ice formations on your pond and waterfall as early as November. During these frosty months, you can either keep your pond running for the winter, or shut it down.

Colorado Water Features Coming Soon to YouTube
We had a great time hosting Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy, in late September as he filmed some Colorado water features for his YouTube channel. The air dates for these episodes are quickly approaching, below is the calendar and the local Certified Aquascape Contractors being featured. Each companies videos will air Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of their week.

Product Update
Aquascape has a number of exciting new products being introduced in 2019.  These include some extremely high efficiency pumps, a variety of water treatments, slate spheres, improved slate spillway walls and . . . color changing lights! Click on the catalog below to learn more!



Employee of the Year
Though he hasn't been with us the entire year, our employee of the year is our Head of Customer R e lations, Wilson!  Young or old or even other furry friends he's happy to greet everyone.  Some customers are even sad when they come in during a "non-Wilson" day.  Stop by sometime to introduce yourself!



Holiday Schedule
True Pump will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 & Friday, Nov, 23 for Thanksgiving and Monday, Dec. 24 - Tuesday, Jan. 1 for Christmas & New Year's. We will have someone On Call and checking voice mail messages for emergencies Dec. 26 - 28.
