DAAD Programs, Scholarships, and Grants

Application Deadline Study Scholarship for Fine Art, Design/Visual Communication and Film Those with an undergraduate degree in any discipline or final year undergraduates may apply for the Study Scholarship for Fine Art, Design/Visual Communication and Film for a full Master's degree program or complementary course at a German university.  Apply by November 30th . PhD and Post Docs DAAD/AICGS Research Fellowship Program This research fellowship program is designed to bring both junior and senior scholars and specialists working on Germany, Europe, and/or transatlantic relations to AICGS, which is located in Washington, DC, for stays of two to three months each. Call for Applications University Summer Course Grants This program provides scholarships to attend a broad range of three- to four-week summer courses at German universities which focus mainly on German language and literary, cultural, political and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany.  Apply by December 1st. Transatlantic Spaces

International Cooperation in Space Orion Moon Mission Utilizes German Technology NASA's Orion spacecraft, which is set to venture to the moon in the next few years, will be using a service module built by the European Space Agency's prime contractor, Airbus.
