The DAAD USA offices in New York and San Francisco will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd in observance of Thanksgiving. Did you know, Germany celebrates Thanksgiving (Erntedank) in September?

DAAD Programs, Scholarships, and Grants
Application Deadline
Study Scholarship for Fine Art, Design/Visual Communication and Film

Those with an undergraduate degree in any discipline or final year undergraduates may apply for the Study Scholarship for Fine Art, Design/Visual Communication and Film for a full Master's degree program or complementary course at a German university.  Apply by November 30th .

PhD and Post Docs
DAAD/AICGS Research Fellowship Program

This research fellowship program is designed to bring both junior and senior scholars and specialists working on Germany, Europe, and/or transatlantic relations to AICGS, which is located in Washington, DC, for stays of two to three months each. Apply by December 1st, .

Call for Applications
University Summer Course Grants

This program provides scholarships to attend a broad range of three- to four-week summer courses at German universities which focus mainly on German language and literary, cultural, political and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany.  Apply by December 1st.

Orion Moon Mission Utilizes German Technology
