GBEA/Region 3 National Board Support Syllabus
WEAC, GBEA, and Region 3 have organized
ongoing monthly National Board Support for the 2018-2019 cycle
. Generally, the first portion of the session will feature a presentation on a
topic or issue and the second portion of the session will be reserved for working with
candidate concerns and questions. Sessions will be held at the WEAC Region 3 Office, 1136 N. Military
Ave., Green Bay. We have added the option of joining us via Zoom if you are unable to attend in

Micro-Credentials Offerings
In partnership with the National Education Association, the WEA Academy offers over 100 micro-credentials free of charge to WEAC and NEA members. Micro-credentials are a competency based recognition issued for formal and informal professional learning experiences. Micro-credentials support educators developing skills and acquiring knowledge to improve classroom practices that support student success. Find out more.

Nominate Yourself or a Colleague for a Badger Red for Ed Honor
By now, you've heard WEAC celebrating the good work of Public School educators on the radio during Badger football games and in our member communications. This partnership with the UW Badgers is made possible through grant funding with the NEA, and anyone can enter deserving educators at
weac.org/badger. So far, we've honored educators from Ashwaubenon, Sun Prairie, St. Croix Falls, UW-Whitewater, Madison, New London, and Eau Claire. We'll continue the promotion throughout the school year, so be sure to promote it with your members.
