Stewardship Journey-Renewing Our Covenant

As we celebrate Consecration Sunday on November 18, let us be reminded that our Stewardship Journey has focused on renewing the covenant that we pledged when joining the United Methodist Church , “that we will faithfully participate in the ministries of the church by our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service and our witness.”

We offer our financial gifts and our pledges with a spirit of joy and gratitude, remembering that God’s generosity is demonstrated by his love to us in Jesus Christ. May our beloved church be blessed in 2019 by our generosity.

Ann Gordon Evans
Stewardship Chairman
A special thank you to Ann Gordon Evans for serving as our Stewardship Chair this year. Your willing dedication is appreciated more than you know!

Grocery bags with suggested items will be provided for your convenience on November 25 following the worship service. The collection points will be in the narthex (back of the sanctuary) or inside the entrance door leading to the office. Please make sure all items are turned in by December 16. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
Join our Yoga Classes! It's never too late to participate in our weekly yoga classes.  Fitness Yoga at 6:00 pm on Tuesdays and Gentle Yoga at 10:00 am on Thursdays.  Class lasts for one hour and beginners are always welcome. There's no judgement or pressure to do difficult poses, so please don't be afraid to give it a try! Registration is not necessary; just come to the Fellowship Hall with a yoga mat, bottle of water and $5. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the church Family Movie Night fund. Please join us and feel free to invite non-members as well! Contact Holly Yaskowsky with any questions at hollyyaz@cox.net  or 757-303-1232.
