Parlee Jones Receives 2019 Renaissance Award
Abby's House staffer celebrated at Annual Meeting
Presentation of the Renaissance Award winner is always a highlight of our Annual Meeting. This prize is made possible by our donor, the late Jack Lund, and is intended to show our appreciation to those who serve our community.

Parlee Jones has been on staff with Abby's House for over 15 years, offering advocacy and support to women by connecting shelter guests with resources to ensure their safety and strengthen their options for independence. Passionate and talented, Parlee is an activist whose commitments extend far beyond her job. She has founded or led numerous cultural projects including Our Story Edutainment, Black Culture Presents, and the Worcester Black History Project. Parlee is the epitome of deserving.

 Congratulations Parlee!
Parlee Jones (pictured right, with Ann Lisi) was truly surprised to hear that she had been selected the 2019 Renaissance Award recipient. Her gratitude did not disappoint our audience.

We look forward to celebrating all of our new awardees along with our donors and friends at the upcoming Scholarship Reception on Wed., June 19 at 4:30pm at Worcester State. Please come if you can! To reserve, contact: events@greaterworcester.org .
