Summer Vacation Bible Camp has begun!
During the summer months, following the Children's message in the Worship Service, children are invited to participate in a modified Vacation Bible School in our Children's classrooms.

During the month of June, we will be using materials from SonRock Kids Camp VBS.  Children will learn how their lives can be transformed by God's great love for them. Through Bible lessons focused on the Apos tle Peter, they'll explore who they are in Jesus Christ. Each Sunday will have the following themes:

  • June 9 - Protected by Jesus
  • June 16 - Saved by Jesus
  • June 23 - Forgiven by Jesus
  • June 30 - Living for Jesus

We are taking the opportunity this summer to give our weary Children's Sunday School teachers a rest. From June through August, we will not be having Children's Sunday School classes. However, Childcare will be provided for parents attending adult Sunday School classes upon request. If you would like to be available to provide childcare during the Sunday School hour, please contact Dina

God-Sized Prayer - from Pastor Rob
Hands lifted in prayer
The truth is I have repeatedly asked God to send more people to our church. This year we have experienced more departures than the normal attrition our church cycles through. In any given year, we see a dozen or more people move whether it is because of graduation or moving to a new town. Or, people leave the church for other reasons. As that happens, new people join us. Families move to the area. People already living here decide they want to give our church a try. In over a decade, we have not had significant numeric growth or decline - until this year.
This year, our new arrivals are not keeping pace with our departures. As the lead pastor of the church, this has troubled me and I have prayed fervently for God to do something about it. However, recently as I walked through the neighborhood near our church property, I experienced a paradigm-rattling thought. I may have been praying the wrong prayer.
