NORTH TEXAS ACCESS LIFE EXPO
THIS SATURDAY | JUNE 8 | VRBC | 9 AM TO 1 PM

Only one in ten people affected by disability attend church, so Access Life has designed a four-hour community outreach Expo event to provide a time of Christ-centered encouragement, support, and fun for individuals and families living with disabilities.  It is FREE to attend.

This year, t he North Texas Access Life Expo will be held right here at VRBC on June 8 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (with volunteer check-in at 8:00 am). The event will offer  access to activities that individuals with disabilities may not often get to enjoy, such as a zip line, climbing wall, archery, adaptive sports, arts and crafts, and more.

There are many serve opportunities at the Expo and is a great opportunity for families or Grow Groups to serve together. Volunteers can help with activities, serve as a buddy to an individual or family, serve as a parking lot attendant, or assist in a number of other areas. To volunteer or participate, CLICK HERE, visit access-life.com or call 352-455-9926. You can also contact Mike Struffolino at 972-746-8014 to get more information.
MISSIONARY SPOTLIGHT:
TOM STICKNEY

Tom Stickney, former VRBC Minister to Students,  and his wife Kerry serve as the Executive Directors of African Christian Outreach (ACO). ACO is a ministry that was started by Tom's parents in the early 1970s in Kenya.

ACO focuses on equipping the next generation of students through evangelism and discipleship on campuses throughout Kenya. Fourteen national staff on eight campuses spend time knocking on doors sharing the Gospel, leading Bible studies, and spending one-on-one time with students. Students involved in the ministry are also plugged into the local community around them through partnerships with orphanages, high schools, slums, and agricultural ministries. Our prayer as a ministry is to equip and empower the next generation of leaders to change their own country and East Africa.

"CAMEO" SERIES CONTINUES THIS SUNDAY
FREE MOVIE TICKET FOR ALL FIRST-TIME GUESTS!

As we enjoy the summer blockbuster movie season, we're continuing our teaching series called "Cameo." Each week, we are taking a look at a character in the Bible who makes a short appearance but has a big impact. And we'll talk about how, although we may not be the "star of the show," each of us has an important role to play as well!

To make this fun and to bless our guests with a fun outing with their family or friends, we are giving away a free movie ticket to every first-time guest who attends one of the "Cameo" worship services. If you've been thinking of inviting someone to church with you, this is the perfect opportunity! Make plans to bring a guest with you for Week 2 of "Cameo"!
