Building God's Kingdom:
MIPC Stewardship 2019

Stewardship Dedication Sunday
This Sunday, November 18, marks the last day of our formal stewardship campaign. Thank you to those who have gotten their pledge forms in!  While we are off our pace from the past few years in terms of pledges received, our hope is that we can catch up this week

We want to finish strong to ensure that next year's expenses (salaries, utilities, insurance, mission & ministry budgets) are adequately covered.  If you haven't had a chance to complete your 2019 pledge, you can do so at www.mipc.org/stewardship or we have additional pledge cards at the front desk and throughout the church.  As we  anticipate an increase in our operating expenses of $60,000 or 5% over our current budget, please consider a 5% increase to your pledge or, if you are able, a greater increase to help subsidize those that are unable.

On Sunday, we have a fun wrap-up to share at each of the services as we celebrate Dedication Sunday.  Thank you for joining with us in this sacred trust of caring financially for God's church and helping us ensure we finish strong!!
Blood Pressure Screening This Sunday
Get your blood pressure checked at our Blood Pressure Screening every 3rd Sunday of the month. The MIPC Health Ministry team is available this Sunday, November 18, after each worship service.

Attention Musicians!
The ARK (Children's Ministries) is looking for a few adults who might be willing to lead our music time prior to Sunday School class each week. We usually have 3 songs before dismissing to our classes. Live music (guitar or other instrument) would be great, or lead along with our music videos. Your choice. Interested?
Contact Becky at [email protected].
Missions
Julia's Place - Volunteer Opportunity
The Julia's Place ministry provides monthly groceries to a homeless shelter at the Madrona Grace Presbyterian Church in Seattle. Contact Betsy Bahn, [email protected] to help.

EPIC: Every Person In Community
EPIC Registration is open
Our hope is to provide a safe and loving community that bridges the space between school and home for your child(ren). During this pilot year, we are limiting our program size. Registration will be accepted until spots are full, and throughout the year as space is available.
Contact: Director, Stephanie "Ms. Steph" Boyer with any questions or registration information. (206) 232-5596 x1016 or [email protected]
Sanctuary Flowers
Each Sunday, congregation members have the opportunity to provide the beauty of flowers to the sanctuary. Many donate to honor loved ones who have passed, celebrate an anniversary or birthday or just because they love seeing flowers at church. Whatever the reason, the thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Flowers can come from your garden or a flower shop, whatever works best for you.
Because some of our members and guests are allergic to floral fragrances it is best to plan flowers without fragrances. Thank you.

If you would like to sign up to provide flowers for an upcoming Sunday service or for more information please continue to this  link .
