Boundary Dam 3 (BD3), the world’s first coal-fired power station with a Carbon Capture (CSS) facility, located in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada, is the world’s first carbon capture facility, and remains the only facility that is fully-integrated with a coal-fired power plant – a ground-breaking effort for large-scale capture.
On this tour, you will be flown to Estevan and given the opportunity to take a tour of both the BD3 dam facility, as well as the CCS facility. After an overview presentation over lunch, you will be fly back to Saskatoon in the afternoon!
