Update Yahrzeit Information in Shul Cloud
|
If you have suffered the loss of a family member and wish to be notified of the Yahrzeit please log into ShulCloud with your username and password. Once you are in your account click on the Yahrzeit Tab, 3rd tab
from the left on the top. Click Add Yahrzeit. This will take you to Create New Yahrzeit. The fields are self-explanatory. For accuracy of the notification, it is important to know if the deceased died before or after sundown. You will then receive a ShulCloud generated notice by email or hard copy if no email address is on file from the Synagogue prior to the date that the Yahrzeit will be observed.
If you are unable to log in or need help to input the information into the system please contact Marsha Lustig who will be happy to help you.

Kol Ha'Nearim Tallit 5779 Deadline is extended through December 3rd
|
Over the years, we have maintained a beautiful
tradition in our shul on Simchat Torah.
You have all witnessed the Kol Ha'Nearim
tallit that is used as a chuppah
for the Kol Ha'Nearim aliyah.
Calling our children and grandchildren
up to the Torah under the canopy adorned
with their individual names functions as
a permanent record of the
vitality of our community.
At this time, we are pleased to offer
the opportunity to add the names of
your children on this beautiful tallit.
Each child's individual name is embroidered
in Hebrew below your English family name.
The cost to add a name is $60 per child based
on no more than two names per child.
For those with more than two names
(i. e. Avraham Yitzchak Yaakov), there will be an
additional charge of $3 per letter beginning
with the third name.
c
omplete the form by December 3rd.
(Choose: "Kol Ha'Nearim Tallit 5779"
$60 per child based on no
more than two names per child.
For those with more than two names
(i. e. Avraham Yitzchak Yaakov),
there will be an additional charge of $3 per

We would once again like to thank
Emily and Alan Rosenfeld,
who so kindly dedicated
this tallit to our synagogue
in loving memory of Martin Rosenfeld.
If you have any questions, please
call either Marsha Lustig in the shul office
(914) 636-8686 x 101 or

If you would like to get rid of:
* All clothing
* Linens
Get rid of the mess and get a mitzvah!
In addition to a mitzvah, you will receive a valuable tax deduction as well!
We are collecting these items for an
organization called
KUPATH EZRAH OF ROCKLAND COUNTY
.
All items should be clean and in good shape, clothing should be up-to-date and still fashionable.
Remember: you are
giving these things to a 'close relative,' and it costs the organization money to sort
and dispose of poor merchandise.
Currently Scott Greenbaum is not able to take your donations to Monsey. Volunteers would be appreciated. Please contact Scott if you are able to help:

Hot off the press, attorney Reyna Gentin just published her first novel, Unreasonable Doubts. The book is about a young woman grappling to salvage her idealism in a harsh world, and learning how to find friendship, faith, and love in the right places. Her 18 year career as a criminal appellate attorney inspired her to write this story.
