Hello Mustangs!
Welcome back RHS families! We hope you had a wonderfully relaxing break and are geared up to kick off the new decade. Your RHS PTSA is excited about 2020 and looking forward to so many exciting events!
Please join us on Wednesday, January 8th in the RHS Library for our next PTSA meeting to learn more about these events and how you can get involved! And also mark your calendar to attend our first event of the year - the
Suicide Awareness presentation and discussion,
January 16th, 7-9 pm, at the RHS Library. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
We'd also like to kick off the year by thanking one of our amazing volunteers who works tirelessly to make RHS a better place.
Felice Nightingale wears not only two hats on our PTSA board - the
VP of Communications and the
VP of Membership -
she also serves on the LWSD PTSA Council and works to help educate volunteers district-wide on the latest PTSA tools. As our VP of Communications, Felice works to make sure that all of our RHS families know the latest news and how best to get involved. She also works as our Membership VP to ensure that our membership is strong and that our members are aware of the many benefits of being a part of the PTSA. Felice has a wealth of knowledge and helps our PTSA to run strong and smooth, she is a crucial part of our team and we thank her for her dedication and continuous hard work!
As always, we'd love to have you as a part of our team, too! If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about the many ways to get involved, please email us anytime - we'd love to hear from YOU!

Sincerely,
Meredith Cain and Michelle Obenaus

Citrus Fundraiser:
The Annual RHS Band Citrus fundraiser continues until January 14th! Students are taking orders for cartons of premium oranges and grapefruit! Place your order today with any band student. Fruit will be ready for delivery on Jan 25th
Mattress Fundraiser:
Our 4th Annual Mattress Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, January 18th! This fundraiser was very successful for us last year and we need everyone's help to make it even more successful this year!
The event will be right here at the high school, with the commons being turned into a mobile mattress showroom with 30 brand name mattresses on display. They will also have luxury pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, frames and adjustable bed frames (if you haven’t tried one of these you should come check them out). Really anything you can get from a mattress store you can get here! If you need delivery, haul away of an old mattress or even financing, it is available!
