What's Up in RE This Week

This week we will celebrate Thanksgiving with a multigenerational worship service.  Children and youth will attend services with their families.  The nursey will be open for children two years old and younger. 

 

8th grade OWL kids will meet downstairs for a panel discussion. 
 

 

 

  
Religious Education Class Times
 
Please note that on Sunday mornings parents and kids start worship together in our Sanctuary at 9:15/11:15.  After the Time for All Ages, kids join their RE classes downstairs.

Worship ends at 10:15/12:15. However, RE classes end at 10:30/12:30--in order to give our parents a few minutes of social time before picking kids up from class.  We ask that parents of kids 4th grade and younger pick up kids from their RE classes. Kids 5th grade and older will be dismissed from class and are instructed to find their parents.


Next Multigen Worship Service 
Our next Multigenerational worship service will be our Holiday Pageant service on  Sunday, Dec. 23 at both 9:15 and 11:15.  We will not be hosting RE classes on this day. Instead, children and youth will attend the entire service with their families.  Childcare will be available for the very young in the nursery.

                         9 PM--Unplugged
  • Sunday, Dec. 30--One service at 11:30. No RE classes. 
  • Sunday, Jan. 6--RE Classes Resume.
Holiday Pageant Signups 
 
Our annual Holiday Pageant will be Sunday, Dec. 23 at both the 9:15 and 11:15 service.  Children 3 years and older are encouraged to participate. Speaking parts for the older kids.   Costumes provided.

Religious Education Registration
If you have not done so, please take a moment to register your child/ youth for RE classes. 



Weekly RE Family News
 
If you are not receiving the weekly RE family newsletter please take a moment to register your child or youth.  Registering for RE places you on our class rosters and class mailing list, therefor adding you to the priority list for special events and classes such as OWL.
