Help make the season brighter by adopting one or more angels off the Northwest ISD Virtual Angel Tree.  Northwest ISD uses the virtual angel tree as a way for teachers and staff, student organizations, local churches and businesses to offer their support anonymously to qualified students and families who need extra assistance with clothing and gifts during the holiday season.
 
To adopt an angel:
 
1. Go online to access the NISD Virtual Angel Tree.
2. Make your selections.
 
The virtual angel tree items, along with a printed copy of the details, will need to be delivered to the NISD Administration Building (2001 Texan Drive, Justin, 76247) by Thursday, November 29.
 
In addition, volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. everyday, November 26-30 and again the following week December 3-7, to help receive and sort virtual angel tree items.  Please call NISD Partners in Education with your availability at 817-215-0171.

Support NEF on #GivingTuesday

Save the Date for the annual NEF Gala

Represented by Elizabeth Stamper, she's been collaborating with O.A. Peterson Elementary by providing meals for the school's student of the month program.

Represented by operations partner Breanna Fraijo, she's been collaborating with O.A.Peterson by providing meals for the schools's student of the month program.

Milestone Home Team
Represented by realtors Jennifer Buchanan and April Dettman, they've been collaborating with J.Lyndal Hughes, Kay Granger and O.A. Peterson elementary schools on teacher and staff appreciation initiatives.

We currently have a number of students identified as having needs ranging from study skills, to emotional needs, to just needing someone to talk to in a different setting or different way.  These kids would benefit from having an extra concerned adult in their lives.  With your help, we can have a transformative effect on lives and an even bigger effect on the communities we serve.

The committment is flexible.  We have mentors that come in for an hour a week, and we have others that can give more time, and still others that have less to give.  By working together, we will make a difference in the academic success of the kids in the community through a very valuable outreach.  To become involved, call your child's counselor today.
