VFW Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. Ben Otterson for winning the VFW Teacher of the Year. The VFW recognized Mr. Otterson for his work with the Sinking Springs Salute Crew. The Salute Crew took great care of our school flag, and they took pride in raising and lowering the flag properly each and every day.
Congrats Mr. Otterson and the SSE Salute Crew!

Making a Difference Award

Congratulations to Alli Raynes for winning this year's Making A Difference Award. Alli was the Sinking Springs student representative at the CYSD Elementary Bullying Summit.  She shared her perspective on how students stand up for one another and how our school shows its Sinking Springs SPIRIT! Congrats Alli!

CYSD Summer Lunch Program

Central York School District will once again offer a FREE Summer Food Service Program for kids under 18. 

The program will be offered from 12PM-1PM 
June 10-August 8, 2019, at three locations:

Hayshire Elementary School
2801 Hayshire Drive
York, PA 17406

Stony Brook Elementary School
250 Silver Spur Drive
York, PA 17402

York Learning Center (former Central York High School)
300 E. 7th Avenue
York, PA 17404

From Mondays-Thursdays between June 10-August 8, students ages 18 and under can receive a FREE lunch at any of these three locations. Adults can purchase a meal for $4.05 at each location as well.

**All locations will be CLOSED July 4 & 5 2019. York Learning Center will be closed June 20, July 4&5, and August 6-8, 2019.**
