Welcome to The Pulse! Please take a minute to check out what's happening at Church of the Apostles.
|
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ Please pray for people in eastern NC who are still rebuilding after Hurricane Florence, and pray that our church's relief team will be an encouragement and the aroma of Christ for those they assist.
+ Pray for our mission partner in Ukraine, CCX, that the Lord would draw university students to know him through their work.
+ Pray also for our church's children, that they would know and follow Jesus as Savior and Lord all of their days.

Hurricane Florence Work Day ~ November 17
A team will be returning to Wilmington on Saturday, partnering with Christ Our Hope Church, to continue rebuilding work after Hurricane Florence. Team will meet in the Apostles parking lot at 7:15am and should be back by 6:00pm. Contact Steve Zimmerman for more details.

We will be returning to Guatemala June 15-22, 2019 to work with
Potter's House. If you are interested in hearing more about this mission opportunity, there will be a meeting in the
Youth Room. following the 11am service this Sunday.

We invite any who would like to assist in decorating the church for Christmas to join us on
Saturday, December 1
between 9:00am and 12:30pm. This is a fun, easy way to serve and fellowship where no previous experience is required. The simple instructions and supplies are ready when you arrive, and help as long as you have time.
|
When Church of the Apostles began meeting in our current space in May 2008, we had a loan balance of $4,572,581. We continue to give thanks that, with contributions from Upon this Rock, Freedom for Mission and the sale of the land for the parking deck, we have been debt free for a year! As a result of your stewardship and God's faithfulness during Freedom for Mission, we have been able to allocate $374,826 toward direct mission grants and increase our Missions budget by 99% over our prior fiscal year.

you'd like to donate, labeling the contents. All baked goods can be dropped of the day of the sale.
Buy a goodie: The bake sale will be open after both the 8:30 and 11:00 services. Consider grabbing a treat for a friend, neighbor or Christmas gift! Proceeds will go toward scholarships for the Women's Retreat in March.
