Dear Devotees,
Sri Meenakshi Temple is closely monitoring the COVID-19 status and guidance provided by the CDC and local health authorities. Based on all the information available to the Temple and to ensure the safety of our devotees, priests, staff and volunteers.
- Temple will be closed for devotees effective immediately until April 2nd. Priests will continue to do all the pujas, archanas and abhishekams every day both in the morning and evening to ensure Agama traditions. Some of the pujas and abhishekams will be live-streamed at https://www.facebook.com/SriMeenakshiTemple.Pearland/videos/
- All the Temple celebration events in March and April will be postponed. But some of the events, pujas and abhishekams will be live-streamed.
- Annual sponsored pujas will continue to be performed as per schedule.
- Annual Puja prasadams will not be mailed in March and April.
- VHS Classes will be cancelled in March and April. More details to follow.
- ·Temple kitchen will be closed until April 2nd.
- We are denying outside puja requests until April end. Any further requests will be noted but confirmed 10 days before the event. MTS has the right to cancel the booking depending on the COVID – 19 updates.
- Follow preventive actions as per CDC recommendations to curtail the spread of respiratory diseases, including COVID-19
