Although in-person programs have been on hold, we've adapted quickly, continuing to empower teens through a variety of virtual programming, including Money Coach sessions via Zoom. Read what our Money Coach teens had to say about how Money Coach has been helpful to them during this time.
“Now is a time when we all need to think differently about our money – times are uncertain, nothing is guaranteed and people are desperately in need. I want the teens I’m mentoring to know that as they do their best to navigate these trying times, they can count on me to offer a listening ear and answer their questions.”
Colleen Beres, Money Coach volunteer

As teens face the economic upheaval of this time, they need financial knowledge, tools, and supportive mentors more than ever. Here are five numbers to inspire you to financially support SecureFutures today.

1) 87% of teens participating virtually in Money Coach right now said they are applying what they’ve learned in Money Coach during the pandemic

2) 83% of those teens said the support of Money Coach mentors and staff has been helpful to them during this time.

3) 694 teens have accessed other SecureFutures virtual program offerings such as Money Path, Money Sense, and our financial basics e-lessons.

4) 35 educators have used SecureFutures virtual programs in their classrooms.

5) With the postponement of our Investment Conference, our major annual fundraiser, SecureFutures is facing a $50,000 funding deficit as we end our program year on June 30th.
