  • Why do we talk about Muslim communitarianism, if not to stigmatize a minority, given that all populations have a tendency to band together?
  • What are the common threads between Islam, North American philosophical debates on the foundations of society, the future of French suburbs, political movements demanding equality and community-run media?

Join us on  Saturday, November 17 at 6 pm  at AFMSP  to discuss with Marwan Mohammed, author, essayist, sociologist  and visiting scholar at CUNY's John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
