Optimizing Clinical Care of Suicidal Individuals
Module is Now Available

FACT: Suicide is reaching epidemic proportions in the U.S.

FACT: Behavioral health practitioners all too often are not aware of evidence-based approaches to helping people presenting with suicidality

FACT: Among practitioners, feelings of anxiety, discomfort, and uncertainty about what to do are all common

This module,  Optimizing Clinical Care of Suicidal Individuals , was designed with these facts in mind. It uses a detailed video vignette to help clinicians:

  • Recognize the mindsets and approaches that effective clinicians apply in their interactions with suicidal individuals, and
  • Recognize effective practices for assessing risks, intervening, and providing ongoing monitoring
Continuing education credits for completion of this module are available to physicians, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and CASACs.
