Festival of Trees will feature over 30 trees, elaborately decorated by local businesses and organizations, to be auctioned and raffled off to benefit the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce City Lights Committee. The event also includes live choir performances, children's activities, holiday carols, refreshments and more! And new this year, Santa Randy will be visiting the festival from the North Pole! Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach

Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach is now a theatre musical for the whole family to enjoy!   When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach... and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach - among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities - but, after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James' quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building.

Mini Iron Chef: Food Art - Sculpture Edition!

Do you have a budding chef at home? Would you like to try out your culinary skills and see what you can do with a secret ingredient (revealed the day of the competition), just like the cooks on TV? Then sign up for this year's edition of Mini Iron Chef! This program, brought to you through our FoodWorks partnership with Hannaford grocery stores, allows kids to step up to the plate and make their own delicious dish with the help of their adult sous chef! See if you can bring home a prize from our judges, have a ton of fun, and take a taste of everyone's hard work. This year's theme is Food Art - Sculpture Edition - create a beautiful 3D work of art using food! This event is for kids ages 5+, and an accompanying adult. Presented by the Woodman Museum and Pine Tree Pop-up, the show features a curated selection of handcrafted work by forty New England-based fine artists and craftsmen, representing a diverse range of mediums with styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. The Artisan Faire will be each Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 23 (10:30-4:30pm). The opening night (Nov. 23, 5-7pm) will feature drinks and light refreshments.
