As you capture photos of your kid(s) in school-related activities (sports, clubs, performances, field trips, award ceremonies, etc.) please share them! It's easy... just email the photos to photos@badger.k12.wi.us with a short summary of who is in the photo(s) and a bit about the activity. Your submission might just be featured on our school Facebooks and/or websites!
Eastview Cardboard Challenge
Fourth graders from Mrs. Nor and Mrs. Harkey's classes participated in the Global Box Challenge again this year. Students were challenged to work collaboratively with their peers to create an arcade game out of recyclable materials. Many students persevered through design challenges and on Friday, October 19 they were able to share their games with the school.

LGMS Above & Beyond
On Wednesday, October 17, the Lake Geneva Middle School Counseling Department had the distinct honor of celebrating 53 outstanding students at their Above & Beyond Ceremony. This prestigious award is designed to showcase our outstanding students that go above and beyond our everyday expectations.
3rd Graders Coding and Building... STEM!
Students work in teams of two to build projects using the Lego We Do program on the computer. They program the computer using simple coding, connect their projects to the computer, and their projects move.

If the projects don't work as expected, students need to troubleshoot and work through the building directions to find mistakes. They also work to improve the designs provided by the We Do program and can create their own programming to change movements and sounds of their projects.
