As the late fall deepens into winter, drop by the Top Shelf Gallery at Mann Library for an eye-opening look at the mysterious beauty to be found when we look down to the six-footed creatures among us.

Carla Elizabeth DeMello is an Ithaca, NY artist. All her life, she’s worked and played with any material that catches her eye—colorful, sticky, natural, malleable, goopy, or beautiful. These paper sculptures pay tribute to the beetles of our world.

group of volunteers who enjoy the challenge and the camaraderie of being
