Principal's Message
It's a busy time around here at Shepherd! We have Grandparents Day on November 20! Please forward the evite link (click HERE) to any grandparents or grandparent "fill-ins" that you feel would want to come spend a little bit of time with your child, meet their teachers, and see their school! Students are welcome to leave with their grandparent(s) for the day.

We also have the ELC Christmas Program December 13 and the Day School Christmas program December 17. Practices for the programs start next week! Your child's teacher will be letting you know what your child needs for costumes. We are making a few of them so if you have a creative flair and feel like this is something you could do for us, we would love to enlist your help! Please email Lisa Jennings, ljennings@sothfamily.org, if you would like to volunteer to do this. All the students are really excited about this. Please feel free to invite your friends and family to the programs!

Date Change for K-8th Grade Christmas Program
It has come to our attention that many of our elementary students are involved in the Westminster Nutcracker Ballet production and this performance conflicts with our already scheduled K-Eighth Grade Christmas program at Shepherd on December 13.

It is our desire to encourage our students to be involved in the community and in extra-curricular activities. Therefore, we will be moving our K-8 Christmas program to Monday, December 17, at 6:30 pm.

The ELC Christmas program will still be held on December 13 at 6:00 pm.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
Break-the-Dress Code Dates
This is a fundraiser for two groups (listed below). Bring $1 on the following dates to break the dress code. Proceeds will go toward the 7th-8th Gr Washington DC next spring!

Three dates left for 2018:  November 29, and December  6  and  20.
