Board and Committee Appointments
 
The Corporation of the Township of Brock is seeking community-minded individuals to submit their names for consideration as appointees to the following boards and committees for the 2018 - 2022 term of Council:
In addition, the following Region of Durham Committees require citizen representation from the Township of Brock:
Applicants must be over 18 years of age and reside within the Township of Brock.

Interested persons are encouraged to submit an application online or submit a  hardcopy by mail/ email outlining your interest, experience and general knowledge concerning the appointment sought by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Winter Day Camp Registration

Online Registration for Winter Day Camp is open! 

For only $20 a day, your child(ren) can participate in the Township of Brock Winter Day Camp. New themes and activities for each day of the week!

It is illegal to park  a vehicle on a highway (roadway) so as to interfere with the clearing of snow. Failure to comply may result in your vehicle being tagged and/or towed away. Your co-operation is appreciated.
Santa Claus Parades

Santa will be making three stops in the Township of Brock this year! 



Beaverton Lions Club Santa Claus Parade - Friday November 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. 
  • Parade departing from the Beaverton Arena
  • Visit the stores of downtown Beaverton before the parade as they celebrate their Christmas Open House
  • Watch for the lights to go on at Alexander Muir Park as the Parade goes by and see what the Beaverton Lions have been working on.
  • Bring the kids to the Beaverton Fire Hall after the Parade to visit with Santa and get a treat bag from the Volunteer Firefighters while warming up and enjoying a free hot chocolate from the Beaverton Lions Club.

Cannington Lions Club Santa Claus Parade - Saturday November 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. 
  • Theme: "A Sport'n Christmas"
  • Parade departing from the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre
  • Floats welcomed and should contact Lion Bo Enss 705-432-3241 or [email protected]
  • Food bank donations welcomed along the route
  • Visit with Santa at Fire Hall following parade
Sunderland - Saturday December 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. 
  • Free family skate from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Sunderland Memorial Arena
  • Parade departing from the Sunderland Memorial Arena
