Spring

"Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems."

The sun rises earlier, and sets later, there is more light in our days than dark. As we remain in tune with the light cycle our eyes open up, like blossoming flowers, to the possibilities of this year. Our mother embraces us with green arms, and poppy painted fingernails. She whispers her love to us in the babbling brooks and flowing streams. It is up to you to listen, and to let her know she has been heard.
NEWS

Moving the Sweat Lodge
It has come to our attention that the land we currently use for Sweat Lodge is being sold. We give gratitude for the two years of beauty this lodge had provided! We will have to move the sweat lodge to a new site. If you know or have any place we can setup in the San Luis Obispo County area, please let us know.

Blanket Blessing Fundraiser!
Pendleton Limited Edition Hiawatha Big Medicine Blanket was donated to help us fundraise! This limited edition Pendleton blanket was specially made with White Buffalo wool, with depictions of the White Buffalo. We are so grateful to Grandfather White Wolf for donating this treasure. The blanket is #66 out of only 128 blankets made this way. It has the shed wool from 19 American and Canadian Woods all white bison. This rare beauty is a blessing for us, and can be for you too when you buy a special raffle ticket for it! Tickets are $30 each, to celebrate our 30th year of Long Dance. Tickets will be available at our events, or call Hua at 805-481-0892 for more information.

Land Search
Our search for land for our ceremonies continues. If you have any leads please let us know! We need land for Sweat Lodge, Vision Quest, and Long Dance. Any land opportunity is welcome, whether it be renting, or buying.

Board Member Search
We are need of more board members and volunteers. If you feel called to serve in an administrative capacity, please let us know. Come to a board meeting to see what it's like!

Novel Coronavirus / COVID-19
Out of necessity  we are indefinitely postponing all our ceremonies. They will be listed on our calendar, and events section, but for now we cannot meet. Now is the time to be safe, and be in prayerful solitude. Pay attention to what the CDC says about it. Protect each other through following the guidelines to stop it's transmission. Ground yourself, and do not give into the fear. This new era is upon us, let us all pray for our community, and the global community. Be well!
