Our 2018-2019 Veritas Series begins with Nomad: The Soul of the People of Canada's Arctic by Juno Award winner Susan Aglukark. The Veritas Series takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Joanne & Peter Kenny Theatre in the King Student Life Centre.

Job Posting
There are two work-study office assistant positions available in the Academic Dean's Office.
Previous experience in a team-oriented office environment is an asset. Familiarity with social media management, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and website management are also advantageous.

International Work Experience
The International Work Experience (I.W.E.) Program offers an opportunity for International students to work part-time on campus in jobs that accommodate their studies. The objectives of the I.W.E. Program are: to offer students training and experience that will assist them in further studies and their eventual entrance into the workforce, to provide an opportunity to contribute to the well-being and success of King's as well as to provide some source of earnings for International Students.
Applications are open now until September 21.

Development and Peace Group
Interested in learning more about social justice and how we can be agents of change in the world? Interested in having meaningful conversations with like-minded people and build community? Consider joining King's Development and Peace group! We meet once a week (TBA based upon students' availability) to chat, reflect and develop a plan to make a difference.

Audition for King's Chamber Choir!
Do you love to sing? The award-winning King's University College Chamber Choir is holding auditions for all voice types this September. The choir will perform two concerts and at special events at the College. Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings. SJPS 3211G: Global Networks for Justice, Migration, Borders, Violence and Peace
January - May 2019
This Social Justice and Peace Studies course examines the explosion of migration that is occurring around the world, focusing on migration from North, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East to Europe. We will look at recipient states' reactions to migrants.
Students will also receive one credit in Italian Language.
