BEWARE Email Scam
As always, the chamber encourages our members to be cautious over the web and email.

We have recently received several reports of current and past members who have gotten an email marked as an unpaid invoice from Margo Kennedy. This is not from us.

The sender has spoofed his or her email address to mimic Margo's chamber account. However, when you look at the email header, the email address does not match a chamber email. In addition there is a phone number listed that starts with 769 not 815.

Other individuals have also had their emails spoofed in this same scam. The chamber has been on the receiving end of these types of emails also. So please be cautious with all emails, especially when the email header and phone number do not match the person's true information.

The chamber cannot control these emails as they are coming from someone outside the chamber. If you are concerned about the status of any invoice from us, please call us directly at 815.844.5131 or stop in during business hours. We apologize for any confusion or concern.
