Holiday Food and Fun with Your Living Grace Friends

Enjoy an evening out with your Living Grace friends at the Connection Team's Christmas Dinner on Saturday, December 8th.

This adults only event is a yearly tradition at Living Grace. Our restaurant choices this year are Steak & Grapes, Hiro 88, Tanner's, and Roja. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM.

Financial Peace University in 2019

Financial Peace University (FPU) is a life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and live God's plan for your life. FPU is for everyone, from the financially secure to the financially distressed. Each FPU session includes a video lesson by Dave Ramsey that is highly entertaining, humorous, informative and biblical. This is followed by an engaging small group discussion. On average, FPU graduates have paid off over $5,300 in debt and saved $2,700 during the 9 week program!

Theology on Tap

Drink a little deeper from the theological tradition of the Christian church and learn more about Christian ideas and doctrine. We'll meet TOMORROW Thursday, November 15, 6:30-8:15 P.M. at Wendy Ringler's home. Bring an hors d'oeuvre to share.

WaterMark Baptism Class

If you are interested in baptism for yourself or a child, please come to our WaterMark Baptism Class on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Living Grace Mission Center. You will learn about the Lutheran understanding of Holy Baptism and the service details of a baptism at Living Grace. Children are welcome to attend with parents, as are adults and young people who are interested in baptism for themselves.

Jesus is...

Christmas is a time that kids look forward to with great expectation. The presents, decorations, and all of the holiday fun brings out the kid in ALL of us. However, these things are not what Christmas is all about. Christmas is all about the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Jesus' birth was something that the nation of Israel had looked forward to for a long time. Although they didn't know that the Messiah's name would be Jesus, they did have a very good idea about what He would be like. The prophet Isaiah prophesied many years earlier about Jesus and gave several descriptions of His character.

In this series, the children in Grace Place will learn some incredible lessons based on that prophecy from Isaiah. Ultimately, they will learn that Jesus is Emmanuel - "God With Us." We pray that this series is a blessing as we celebrate this timeless story that changed the world this Christmas!

One Way Yoga

Yin Yoga emphasizes passive, static, postures held for long periods of time with muscles in a relaxed state. This way, the dense connective tissues in and around the muscle joints are stimulated, somewhat stretched and ultimately strengthened.

Saturdays, 9-10 a.m.: Gentle flow class that welcomes adult and children of all abilities.
Monday, 5-6 p.m.: Gentle flow class that welcomes adults of all ages and abilities.

Coffee+Grace: Calling all gals. This book study group called Coffee+Grace that meets Sunday mornings at 9-9:45 a.m. at Millard West in Room 131 . We are reading "Girl, Wash Your Face" by Rachel Hollis and will discuss chapters 18-19 this Sunday. We will not meet on Sunday, November 25. Childcare is available . Questions? Prayer Shawl Ministry: Made with love...come join us! Prayer shawls are given to those dealing with difficult times. No experience necessary. We have fun and help support each other through this thing called life. We meet the fourth Tuesday of every month at Panera on 180th St. and W Center Rd . Our next meeting is Tuesday, November 20. FISH Group: FISH is a group of fun, friendly adults of all ages who meet monthly on the first Sunday in a member's homes. After dessert, we gather for an informal Bible study.
