Brightline’s 170-mile northward expansion from West Palm Beach to the Orlando airport is on target for completion in 2022, according to an update provided by Michael Cegelis, Brightline’s Executive Vice President of Infrastructure Development, at the March CFX Governing Board meeting.

In March 2021, CFX and FDOT provided authorization to Brightline for continued negotiation through July 2021 on their proposed 85-mile expansion from Orlando to Tampa. CFX's Governing Board has asked for monthly updates from Brightline through the negotiation period.
