Greetings!

Another year, another decade, another opportunity to reflect on the past and envision the future.

In 2019 WORK_SPACE took over full curation of all 3 on-site galleries. We hosted amazing shows; including ...

  • Hans Weiss: Solo Exhibition
  • Michelle Thomas: Solo Exhibition
  • Manchester Art Association: Group Exhibition
  • Auto-Fueled Art: Group Exhibition
  • PERSPECTIVES: We Are All Different, We Are All One: Group Exhibition

For those who missed our last show, Perspectives, you'll have another chance to view the collection as Hartford Public Access Television was so impressed with the exhibit, they've asked it to be installed in their newly renovated studios on Sargeant Street.

January 2nd (this Thursday) is the next art opening at WORK_SPACE with new exhibits featuring:

In addition to being proud of the incredible art that has been curated by Christiane O'Brien and the Manchester Art Association , WORK_SPACE is thrilled to end this calendar year with all 12 office spaces occupied, usage of our meeting space at an all-time high and 48 monthly members sharing space, resources, much good will and many great ideas.

We would like to extend a special thank you to our members, our
Community Partners and all of those who help us encourage entrepreneurship, support artistic expression and celebrate Downtown Manchester .

WORK_SPACE would not function without the strategic partnerships within the Town of Manchester and we are truly appreciative of the support provided by the IS Dept, the Fire Dept, Facilities, Leisure, Family and Recreation and the Dept of Planning and Economic Development among others.

In 2020 we look forward to partnering with the 4 breweries in town as we move our Beer & Business Networking Happy Hour to the source of the taps. (see schedule below.)

Stay tuned for other exciting programs and performances happening here at WORK_SPACE. Please be in touch if you are interested in helping us continue to create a wonderful place to meet, learn, create and work.

Happy New Year!

The WORK_SPACE Team

The Entrepreneurs' Alphabet of Values

P is for PERSPECTIVE
There is so much to be written about the value of PERSPECTIVE, and yet so little. Each of us has a fairly limited vantage point outside of our own personal point of view. This view is shaped by our individual life experiences and filtered through our current state of mind. I personally don’t agree with the term “alternate facts” and how it is currently being leveraged to distort and discredit the truth. However, as someone who has studied psychology and human behavior for decades now, I do believe we all live in alternate realities. READ ON...
When looking out at a vista, if you shift your head only 10% your perspective on the entire landscape can change.
