Do you know what a Confirmand Knows?
The Confirmation class will soon explore the meanings of faith and trust. How are they different? What do we mean by faith or a “leap of faith”? How do you show your trust in another person or in God, and how far are you willing to trust them? Name a couple Biblical figures who showed a deep trust in God.

Happy New Year!
My name is Kate Ziegler, and I am spearheading the
SouperBowl of Caring food drive
again this year. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the
SouperBowl of Caring
, it is a way for youth to be involved in helping those in need in their local communities. Through the first
Sunday in Lent, March 1
st
, there will be a table outside of the Asbury Room for canned goods and
monetary donations should be made out to CUMC
with
SouperBowl of Caring
in the memo line
and should be placed on the secretary’s desk in the office. Please email me at
swimmergirlrockz@gmail.com
so that I may keep a tally of the donations.
I would like to encourage the congregation of CUMC to support my efforts to help CUMAC ECHO. Please help me help others in need, especially during this time of celebration. Thank you for your continued support!
UPDATE: We have been in contact with CUMAC and have been told that there is a special need for the following food products:
Canned Protein
Peanut Butter
Jelly
This will help build their low supply of these foods. They can also use plastic grocery bags for their customers shopping.
Many Thanks,
Ruth & Barb
