The Peabody Yearbook is Coming!

We know this is certainly a year we'll never forget! The 2020-2021 Peabody yearbook is in the final stages of production. The cost will be $27 per book. Orders will be due Thursday, May 13th.
GSA Supports Local Organizations...Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who donated and bought baked goods from the Peabody GSA fundraiser bake sale! Thanks to your generous support we raised over $1,150! We are splitting the proceeds between the Charlottesville Pride Community Network and GLSEN. Also thank you to Ms. Young and Ms. Lydia for helping us organize this and helping make Peabody a more inclusive school!
The Last Day of School is June 3rd

We are happy to be planning an in-person graduation ceremony for our 8th Graders on June 4th! Typically, we hold a promotion ceremony after graduation that involves our entire community. Due to health/safety restrictions, we will be unable to conduct the promotion ceremony this year for students in Grades PreK-7. Therefore, June 3rd will be the last day of school for students in grades PreK-7. We look forward to celebrating with everyone again soon!

On May 3, Yay Lunch is unveiling a new website, with a new Lunch Calendar to make it even easier to order lunches online for The Peabody School parents. Stay up to date by signing up for emails at yaylunch.com.

2020-21 Annual Fund

Your participation in the Peabody Annual Fund provides essential operating support to Peabody. The generosity of our community supports almost everything that keeps Peabody running, from salaries and classroom technology to arts and supplies. This year, we are also faced with increased expenses for items such as technology infrastructure upgrades, outdoor learning spaces, additional cleaning supplies and protective equipment, and additional aid to Peabody students and families who felt the financial impact of COVID-19. We hope that you will support Peabody in this area and that you will keep in mind that your Annual Fund gift, of any size, really matters to the school.
