This week is Global Entrepreneurship Week. Held annually for one week each November, Global Entrepreneurship Week empowers roughly 25 million people through more than 25,000 activities and is supported by dozens of world leaders and a network of 10,000 partner organizations.
But let’s bring this a little closer to home.
As Habersham County’s economy diversifies, entrepreneurs, outside-the-box thinkers, innovators and start-ups are becoming more integral to the success of our community. Here at the Chamber, we recognize that innovation is the most important catalyst driving regional prosperity, and therefore we must consistently provide programs of support to foster this spirit of entrepreneurship.
One way in which the Habersham Chamber supports this is to connect small businesses through a variety of community development groups, (S.O.A.R and Leadership Habersham, for example) and custom networking events (Business After Hours). We have all heard the saying, ‘It’s about who you know.’ For entrepreneurs, (and any business owner, for that matter) this could not be truer. These opportunities provide professionals and businesses the chance to exchange information, gather ideas, and discuss growth opportunities.
Your Chamber membership affords you access to all these opportunities. We encourage all businesses to consider joining to reap the benefits of a being a member.
We are here to help YOU!
