CCNH Connections: Fall 2018
Stay connected to the latest news and stories
throughout the Catholic Charities New Hampshire community.
No two Catholic Charities New Hampshire clients are the same – all come from different backgrounds and distinct sets of experiences. But the common denominator among them is their desire to build futures filled with hope, promise and sustainability. That was the case with Kalila, a single mother who continuously put in extra hours at her job in Atkinson – but couldn't break free of the constant struggle of living paycheck to paycheck while supporting her daughter. That changed when Catholic Charities – and financial fitness classes made possible through donor support – transformed her outlook (and helped give her daughter something she’s wanted for years) . Read her story .
We often see touching moments that move our hearts and souls. A recent, special Sunday afternoon for one resident at St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester was no exception. Discover how a unique friendship across generations – and an ambitious idea – resulted in an unforgettable trip to Fenway Park. Read Jack’s story.

The evening also featured the presentation of this year’s 'In His Footsteps Award' and 'Guardian Angel Award'. Read more.
We are excited to announce the appointment of four members to the Catholic Charities New Hampshire Board of Trustees – Tina Legere, John Patenaude, E.J. Powers and Rev. Fr.
