Experience the largest display of exhibition chrysanthemums in the United States. Longwood's horticulture experts work daily throughout the seasons to meticulously nurture and train more than 17,000 chrysanthemums into giant orbs, spirals, pagodas, columns, and even more unique forms-including a traditional fan shape making its debut this year.
Enjoy the unveiling of the Thousand Bloom Mum-a single plant bearing 1,437 perfect blooms on one stem-takes their display to a whole new level. The result is simply astounding.
Throughout the Chrysanthemum Festival, relish the colorful foliage of our outdoor Gardens. Wander the Meadow Garden and delight in the return of our Garden Railway.
The Market is a great place to grab a glass of wine or beer and a bite to eat. Weekly specials and events at the Market include a Happy Hour with great music and great discounts Fridays from 5-7pm.
