Orchard News

What is Applefest?  It's when we have a bunch of varieties available to pick and pretty much apples everywhere else.  We have caramel apples, apple cider slush, apple donuts, apple butter, apple
cider, and  9 varieties of apples ripe for you to pick. Something for everyone. And, yes, taste-testing is allowed. In fact, it is a must. It's the only way to become a true apple connoisseur.

Among the apples just ripe this weekend are Braeburn, Cameo and Melrose. Still more varieties to come, we promise. Check out the Fall  picking timeline

First Batch of Cider - We've also just pressed our first batch of apple cider for the season. It's a simple recipe -- just apples.  No added sugar, no added water, no added anything.  Please call ahead if you have a large order (more than 3 gallons) so we can have them ready for you.

Remember, please bring bug spray. Those pesky mosquitoes are still around and we don't want them to interfere with anyone's fun.

Remember - Pumpkin Patch is Open with pumpkins of every shape and size.

Orchard to Table

Cinnamon Apple Pull-Apart Bread  - This is a great recipe, made simple by using frozen dough. But, whether you make the dough from scratch or go with our shortcut, this will not last long in your household. You can use a variety of apples, but we went with Braeburns in our recipe.

Love the smell of baking bread!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
