For the  parents and families of St. Therese Chinese Catholic School

Dear Parents,

It was great to see so many families at our Fall Family Fest last Friday! Students and teachers showed off some creative costumes and seemed to truly enjoy the chance to get together with friends outside of the school day. I enjoyed seeing so many parents Friday night as well. Events such as the Fall Fest are just one of the many ways we build and strengthen our school community at St. Therese.

We are nearing the end of the first trimester and Parent Teacher conferences are just around the corner on November 29th. Registration for conferences must take place through the Virtual Paragon portal. Registration will open at 7am on Thursday, November 15th, and remain open until Wednesday, November 21 at 5pm. An email with instructions on how to log into the portal will be sent to all parents in advance of the registration timeframe. Please be on the lookout for this important email.

There will be no school this Friday, November 2nd, as the staff will be participating in a professional development day. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween.

Best,
Ms. Lisa Deborah Oi
Principal

PS - Flu shots will not be available at the school as previously indicated. Flu shots will still be available on Sunday, November 15th, at church. Stay tuned for more details on time and place.

NO SCHOOL

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2

There will be NO after school programs on this day.

Fall Fest a Big Hit for Our Little Ones

No tricks, just treats for our PreK through 2nd grade students and their families at  Fall Family Fest on October 19th.

Games, pumpkin decorating, bounce houses, and more were on tap for an evening that brought together students, teachers and families. The pre-Halloween fun was made more festive with students and teachers dressed up in Halloween costumes!

A huge thank you to the Fall Family Fest Committee and all the SFA members who organized this great community event!

Parents Treat Faculty and Staff to Lunch!

Thanks to SFA parents in the Kindergarten and 8th grade classrooms for treating faculty and staff to a delicious luncheon Tuesday! Classrooms take turns to show their support and appreciation for their children's teachers and staff regularly. The lunch was a huge hit and a welcome treat, if the smiles (and returns for second servings) were any indication! Thank you to the SFA for organizing this important and meaningful tradition.
