Today's Halloween Parade will start at 1:15pm at each classroom's Morning Circle spots. The parade will end close to 1:45. Some teachers will dismiss directly from the yard and others will dismiss from classrooms, depending on teacher preference.
Additionally, please do not send your students to school in a costume that includes fake weapons or really terrifying/ bloody/ gory costumes that will give our kinder students nightmares. There is a big gray area with halloween costumes, so thanks for erring on the safe and friendly side :)
Adults:
- You are welcome and encouraged to
 dress up, but please no face masks
- Remain on the outside of the Morning Circle
- Take pictures/videos and share them on our Shutterfly Site.

Snack Committee: The Snack Committee is in need of a twice-a-month Thursday afternoon bin cleaner. Email
[email protected] if you can help out! Volunteers are also needed for Monday and Wednesday snack prep. Anyone is welcome to join the team after morning circle in the garden.
Nov. 8th School Tour: We will be welcoming prospective parents to Miraloma on Thursday, November 8 from 8-9am and need more parent volunteers to share their enthusiasm for our school. It's easy, fun, and a great way to show your support for Miraloma!

DAY OF THE DEAD ALTAR: OCTOBER 31-NOVEMBER 2
|
The Day of the Dead, a holiday in which families come together to celebrate and remember their ancestors and their loved ones who have passed away, is celebrated between October 31- November 2. Thanks to Ms. Rosen for sharing her class's Day of the Dead altar with our school community.
Please feel free to add a picture or a contribution in honor of your ancestors. Thank you for reminding students to be respectful of our altar.
