Newly Released: UR16e-
With the Highest Payload Yet
The new Universal Robots UR16e delivers an impressive 16kg (35.3 lbs.) of payload- the most yet- within a small footprint, and is ideal for heavy-duty tasks like machine tending, material handling, packaging, material removal, and screw and nut driving applications. This powerhouse robot allows for heavier end of arm tooling and can lift multiple parts in a single pick, making tasks much more efficient by achieving shorter cycle times. The UR16e reach is 900 mm (35.4 inches).
New Cognex 3D-Designer Class
This class gives new and existing DS1000 users an overview of the hardware and software used by Cognex Designer to quickly and efficiently program the system for 3D vision inspections. With the focus on understanding 3D image acquisition basics as well as core 2D and 3D tools, users learn how to walk through the process of setting up a vision application using programming best practices of the Cognex Designer interface. Students will learn to use advanced techniques and practices to accomplish their vision application needs such as user access, data storage, and HMI design.

Heavy Loads & Pallets
With the new MiR Shelf Lift, the MiR500 and MiR1000 can autonomously connect to a cart, transport and deliver it wherever you need. It ensures a flexible transportation of your heavy loads of different sizes and your pallets, without the need for a pallet rack. One robot can now pick up and deliver multiple carts, wherever you need them.

Decipher Hard-to-Read Codes with Cognex ViDi
The Cognex VisionPro ViDi Blue- Read tool is a dedicated solution that deciphers badly deformed, skewed, and poorly etched codes using optical character recognition (OCR) out of the box. The pre-trained font library identifies most text without additional programming or font training, for fast, easy implementation. With the ability to retain on application-specific fonts and an easy-to-use interface, ViDi Blue-Read dramatically reduces development times, and it can also be retrained to adjust to specific OCR application requirements—no vision expertise required. This tool provides robust, reliable results for your difficult OCR applications.
Smart 3D Cobot Vision with Gocator
Gocator snapshot sensors use stereo structured light scanners that generate high-density 3D data with a single scan trigger. Each sensor offers onboard data processing, built-in 3D measurement tools, and decision-making logic to scan and inspect any part feature with stop/go motion at speeds up to 6 kHz.
You can use snapshot sensors in a wide variety of factory automation applications. Pair these sensors with Universal Robots for a complete robotic solution that delivers high-performance 3D results in robot vision-guidance, quality control inspection, and automated assembly with smart pick and place.
Sensor-robot integration is easily achieved using the Gocator URcap plugin.
