Group Benefits for Newly Elected Officials
UBCM offers comprehensive group insurance coverage to all elected officials and local governments in BC. Following local government elections, elected officials have approximately four months to enroll in group benefits including, extended health, dental and optional life and accidental death & dismemberment benefits.

Intake for 2018/19 C2C Funding
First Nations and local governments in B.C. are encouraged to apply for the fall intake of the 2018/19 Regional Community to Community (C2C) Forum program. Administered in partnership with the First Nations Summit, the program provides grants for meetings between elected officials and/or senior staff of neighbouring First Nations and local governments.

Small Housing BC is hosting a
summit on November 17 so that leaders in design, policy, finance, outreach and real estate may explore the potential of smaller forms as a tool for development. Participants are invited to submit applications to the
Small Housing Challenge as part of the Summit's case study series.
