Coleman Traffic Pattern Change
The Town of Mount Pleasant shifted the traffic pattern to the opposite side of Coleman Boulevard this past week between the intersection of Fairmont Avenue/Shem Drive to Simmons Street. As we continue working on this important capital improvement, please keep in mind the following project information:
  • The lane shift will require the removal of the existing traffic lane markings and new traffic lane markings installed.
  • The far right east-bound straight/right turn lane coming off the Shem Creek Bridge on Coleman Boulevard to Mill Street during Stage 2 construction will be changed to right turn only during this phase of construction.
  • Access to Wilden Street will be past the traffic signal from the right thru traffic lane.
Please use extra caution during this change of the traffic pattern. The above schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions. "Let 'em work, let 'em live".

Questions: Contact Ed Barbee at [email protected] or call (843) 640-2422. Read more project info HERE.
