AT ACES, STAFF TO PRESENT ON NATURE'S BENEFITS
The Nicholas Institute's Lydia Olander, Sara Mason, and Katie Warnell--authors of the recebt Conceptual Model Series--will be among the speakers at the 2018 A Community on Ecosystem Services Conference (ACES). Their discussions will provide an opportunity for ACES attendees to explore how ecosystem services conceptual models and indicators can be used in decision making. ESTABLISHING STATE CARBON TRADING PROGRAMS
Read a blog post about a workshop the Nicholas Institute co-hosted with the Georgetown Climate Center, Resources for the Future and the RGGI Project Series exploring the success of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and how plans by New Jersey and Virginia to participate in it might inform other states interested carbon trading. Watch video from the workshop and view resources on RGGI on the new RGGI Project Series website.
