By Jaimie Hutchison

November is the month of Thanksgiving, or giving thanks. Gratitude is more than just acknowledging that something good has happened, it's recognizing how positive aspects of our lives are linked to external factors, like the efforts or kindness of others. Some people approach the workplace as a place for transactional interactions, but really, when we build relationships with our coworkers, supervisors, and those we supervise, we are more satisfied at work. Evidence suggests that gratitude contributes to a workplace that people want to be a part of.
