Outing Description: We will explore the area of mafic rolling hardwood forest near the Monticello glades

Hike Location: Fellowship Road and Forest Service Road #1111 in Jasper County, very near Monticello, GA

Meeting Time and Place: Meet at 10:00am. Click here for a Google map.

Distance and Difficulty: About 1 mile over gentle grades, some driving between nearby sites

Duration: 2-4 hours

Participant Limit: 22

What to Bring and Wear: Lunch, plenty of water, rain gear, sturdy footwear. If allergic to bees/wasps, remember to bring your meds/epi-pen.

Cancellation/Rain Date: Hikers will be notified if hike is canceled due to forecast of severe weather, etc.

Pet Policy: Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Family Safe Policy: Georgia ForestWatch outings are a smoke, alcohol, and drug-free setting.
