Legal Hotline: Payment of Referral Fees

NEW!

Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline attorney Annie Fitzsimmons is back with another video in her series, Real Estate Fundamentals You Should Know.

This week, Annie explains a commonly confused topic: Referral Fees.

Can I offer an incentive to a buyer or seller?

Can I pay a referral fee to a non-party to incentivize sending a buyer or seller to me and is it contingent on a successful closing?
