Fargo, ND, September 25, 2018 - GTUIT®, LLC , Billings, MT was awarded North Dakota Petroleum Council's (NDPC) 2018 Environmental Stewardship Award. The award was presented at NDPC's Annual Meeting awards luncheon on Tuesday, September 25 at the NDPC Annual Meeting in Fargo.

 

The award is for "Flare Capture and Emissions Reduction in the Bakken". The NDPC noted GTUIT's commitment to full service well site gas processing and flare capture using their proprietary technology and fleet of modular and mobile equipment processing over 40 million standard cubic feet (MMSCF) per day of well site associated gas in North Dakota.

 

GTUIT's equipment has recovered nearly 2 million barrels of natural gas liquids (NGL). This represents over 500,000 tons of CO2 and 150,000 tons of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that were prevented from being emitted.
