Boosterthon Kick-Off!
Our boosterthon fundraiser kicks off this upcoming week with a pep rally on Tuesday, October 30th at 9:30am in Collett Fieldhouse. Families are invited to join us for the pep rally!
Our students are already excited for the fun week of challenges, "Mind Spark Lessons", and class/individual incentives. We are also excited to cap off the entire boosterthon event with a new type of fun run this year. We will be having a "glow run" that will take place on November 8th in Collett. More details and scheduled times will be available next week.
This is our one large fundraiser for the year. The funds raised help our PTO pay for a number of different items including educational supplies, software licenses, teacher grants, and many more items that directly benefit our students each year. This year we are also looking at installing an updated marquee out front. Our current marquee has sustained hail damage and currently has a number of limitations due to the outdated model. Another item that goes along with our "school electronics" push is for a brand new laminator. Our current laminator that is used on a daily basis has been fixed three different times this year for a variety of issues. It is currently out of order. We are at that time of needing a new and improved laminator. Our helping hands can attest to this need.
Thanks to your generous donations this past May we were able to raise enough funds for our additional playground for the littles. We are eagerly awaiting the installation of this new playground, but unfortunately the unseasonal rain since August and a number of backordered items due to high demand in new playgrounds has pushed back our scheduled installation window. We are hoping for a full installation in early December. Please pray for no rain and the timely delivery of all of our playground pieces. Thank you again for your patience and support.
