Due to concerns with the spread of COVID-19, Colorado State University Extension and Arapahoe County has suspended all face-to-face programming, events, and workshops with external participants until further notice. The decision is based on what public health experts say is the best course of action to attempt to dampen transmission rates.
Please note that these recommendations are constantly evolving, and we will do our best to communicate with everyone any changes moving forward. Please be patient with us as we continue to receive information and figure out how to continue to provide 4-H educational opportunities in Arapahoe County.
Effective immediately, all 4-H club meetings, contests, clinics, and workshops are suspended until further notice.
This includes:
- Creative Cooks Contest
- Speech and Demo Contest
- Dog Practices
- Horse Open Riding
- Shooting Sports Leader Training and Youth Practices
- Any Club Meetings, Club Functions, Community Service, and Project Workshops
As we navigate through this together, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding. We understand that this can be difficult. We have a strong 4-H program with wonderful 4-H families and incredible leaders. Please feel free to reach out to the 4-H staff if you have any questions. We will do our best to answer your questions. At this time, the Extension Office is maintaining normal business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM– Monday through Friday).
